When the Office is Closed
Dear Patients,
Please read this important notice regarding our after hours care in an the event of an emergency.
When the office is closed or our doctors are out of the office, we may not have an available provider for emergency care. As such, our after hours answering service will direct you to either Baystate Medical Center who generally has a covering Ophthalmologist, or Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston who has a 24 hour, 7 days/week emergency department specifically for ophthalmology emergencies.
Patients should not delay seeking treatment if they believe there is an issue that requires immediate attention.
